What are your Clinic Hours? 

Do I need a referral to be seen at Island Surgical Center (ISC)? 

  • Yes, you will need a referral from your Doctor to be seen at ISC as well as a scheduled appointment

How can I make an appointment? 

  • Preferably, you can call to make an appointment (671) 646-0443. You can also come in to the clinic to schedule an appointment with your referral on hand. 

Do you accept walk-ins? 

  • No, unfortunately we are only able to see patients by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call us at (671) 646-0443 to schedule an appointment 

What insurances are accepted at Island Surgical Center?

What can I expect as a new patient? 

  • After we receive a referral from your referring provider, we will call to schedule your appointment OR once you receive a referral from a referring provider, you can call to schedule an appointment. As a new patient you will need to:

    • Come in 15 minutes early for check in and registration. 

    • Provide us with an ID and insurance card(s) if applicable

    • Bring a list of your current medications 

  • Fill out our ISC Registration Packet and ISC Rights and Privacy Practices (Links also found at the top of this page). You can fill out the forms, print, and bring them in to speed up your registration process, OR you can fill out the forms when you come in for your appointment. 

What can I expect at my consultation appointment? 

  • The nurses will review your medical and surgical history and any medications you are currently taking. 

  • The Provider will assess you and the reason for your referral. They will then determine the best way to proceed. 

  • Procedures typically are not done same day as consultations.   

Who can help me with a statement I received? 

  • You can call us at 671-646-0443 to speak to our Billing Department and we will gladly assist you with any questions regarding your bill. 

What if I need paperwork to be filled out by my Physician? 

  • Forms should be dropped off at the front desk or given to your nurse. Depending on the type of form, i.e., FMLA and Disability may take up to 5 -10 business days to be completed

Does my insurance information have to be up to date ? 

  • If you fail to provide correct or updated insurance information to our clinic, you may be responsible for the full amount of your bill.  PLEASE PROVIDE ANY NEW INSURANCE CARDS YOU RECEIVE AND ALL SECONDARY INSURANCE INFORMATION.

Will I get penalized if I miss my appointment? 

  • We have been experiencing a significant amount of No Shows/No Call or short notice of cancellations. A fee of $50.00 will be imposed for appointments missed or cancelled without 24-hour notice. A fee of $100.00 will be imposed for procedures missed or cancelled without 24-hour notice and must be paid in order to make another appointment. Not calling within a 24 hour period is considered a No show. 
    Please help Island Surgical Center Staff plan your care by notifying the office at least one day in advance if you need to reschedule your appointment. Please note that this policy was designed as a courtesy for other patients awaiting an appointment or procedure date and time. Thank you for your understanding

Is there a chance my appointment will be rescheduled? 

  • Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances, patients’ appointments may be canceled by the physician or our office. This happens when physicians call in sick or if they are held up in the Hospital. We will do our best to reschedule your appointment to a time that works best for you and our providers. We will strive to give you as much notice as possible in these situations. Thank you for your understanding
